
The Maltese Olympic Committee has officially unveiled the full roster of athletes who will represent Malta at the Andorra 2025 Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE).
Team Malta will participate in a diverse range of sports, including Athletics, Artistic Swimming, Basketball 3×3, Cycling, Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics, Karate, Rugby 7s, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Tennis.
This announcement marks a key milestone in Malta’s build-up to the Games, as the nation’s top athletes prepare to face strong competition from other small European states.
MOC President Julian Pace Bonello also announced that tennis standout Francesca Curmi and middle-distance runner Jared Micallef will serve as flag bearers for the Opening Ceremony.
“These two athletes represent the dedication, resilience, and excellence that define Team Malta. We are confident this team will give their utmost to make the country proud,” said Pace Bonello.
The Games will be held in Andorra and will bring together over 800 athletes from nine nations: Malta, Andorra, San Marino, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, and Iceland.
