Local weather page ‘Aġġornament tat-temp’ is forecasting an increase in temperatures as of Monday, with a wide area of high pressure approaching the Maltese Islands from Libya.
This wave of high pressure will bring with it more stable weather and higher temperatures, ushering in what the public hopes to be a proper stint of summer weather.
The weather page went on to forecast a significant period of stable weather as of Monday, with strong winds beginning to decline from today until Saturday’s twilight. Sunday is expected to welcome light winds and generally sunny weather, with temperature lows of 20°C and highs of 29°C. This forecast has been corroborated by Malta’s Met Office, with maltairport.com confirming that Malta is expected to have a stint of sunny weather from Saturday until Thursday at the very least.
Over the past few weeks, Malta has experienced a streak of irregular weather, with rainfall, cloudy weather and relatively lower temperatures hitting the Maltese Islands during May and June.
Are you looking forward to the summer season?
