New Social Housing Project Inaugurated In Qrendi

Jul 26 2024 Share

Minister for Social and Affordable Housing Roderick Galdes inaugurated a new social housing project in Qrendi. This project will provide housing for twenty-six families and was completed with an investment of just under 4 million euros.

During the inauguration, Minister Galdes explained that this substantial investment in social housing is being made not only to provide a safe roof over people’s heads but also to offer a dignified environment where families can live in residences that enhance their quality of life.

“We want to support these families so that they can live in homes that offer a bright future for themselves and their children. This investment is also made in the heart of the community because we firmly believe in the inclusivity of every individual in our society,” stated Minister Galdes.

This new building incorporates twenty-six residences and twenty garages. This project is the second of three new social housing projects in Qrendi. The first project, which has already been inaugurated, consists of eleven new social housing residences.

The Minister expressed his eagerness to continue working on the mentioned housing projects. “We do this to keep making a difference in the lives of the families benefiting from these projects and to continue improving the quality of life for Maltese and Gozitan families,” concluded Minister Galdes.

Prince Harry Reveals ‘It’s Still Dangerous’ For Meghan To Return To UK

Jul 26 2024 Share

Duke of Sussex or better known as Prince Harry has confirmed his fears as he revealed that he thinks it is still dangerous for his wife, former actress Meghan Markle to return to the UK.

In his first interview after his court case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) he stated that he feared an attack on his wife would happen if she ever had to return to the UK any time soon.

He confirmed that the tabloids and successive trials against the tabloids brought too much attention over him and his wife and that they pushed him too far.

He continued by stating “It’s still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read and whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me.

“It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

He also blamed his battle against the tabloids and press as one of the central reasons why his relationship with the royal family ultimately deteriorated,
