Nov 8 2022 Share

Since the beginning of her acting career, 18-year-old Millie Bobby Brown has been moving from strength to strength in the entertainment world. Now, she has her heart set on playing an iconic pop star of the 2000s and we can’t stop thinking about it.

In a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Stranger Things’ own Eleven revealed that she wants her next role to be that of a real life character. “I want to play a real person. I think for me, Britney”, she admitted in a shock reveal.

The actress’ admission sent the internet into a frenzy, with legions of fans around the world welcoming the idea and comparisons between the two’s upbringing in the public eye have only strengthened these opinions.

While the idea seems to be welcomed by many, Spears’ turbulent past (and present) may present a problem for the pop icon’s reputation and wellbeing. While Spears was recently freed from a controversial 13-year conservatorship with her father, concerns still linger on her mental health due to a series of concerning social media posts.

Would you be open to this idea?

Maltese glam queen Gabrielle Grungo calls for end to body trends and more self-love

Nov 7 2022 Share

Following a string of body modifications, fat reduction procedures and the whole nine yards by the Kardashian family, Maltese paramedical aesthetician and skin consultation therapist Gabrielle Zammit Grungo took to Instagram to share her opinion on the matter.

The local glam queen argued how societal standards put pressure on how individuals perceive themselves and their bodies. She revealed that, in her youth, these same standards made her develop an eating disorder which ‘tainted [her] mentally and probably physically for a huge period of [her] life.’

Despite admitting that there are still days where she struggles, Zammit Grungo stated that she become more accepting of herself. Nowadays, she urges people to look beyond physique trends and just attempt to be healthy and be themselves.

Do you agree?

Completing all three races in first place, Grech bested the race’s Sprint, Super and Beast sections, bagging one gold medal after the other to secure her place as Trifecta World Champion in what is considered the world’s most popular obstacle course race.

In a series of social media posts, Grech revealed that she placed first in her 30-34 age group and 1st place in all age groups with a 7.5 kilometre sprint with 23 obstacles. On day 2, the Maltese athlete landed first place in both categories once again before attempting Spartan’s Beast trial, which is 23 kilometres with over 35 obstacles and elevation… which she dominated, of course.

Congratulations to Dzintra for the massive win!
