The song is part of their latest E.P ‘Supereroj’ – ‘Bogħod mill-Briju’ follows a similar style of music of the previous songs of the E.P. and can be considered as an up-tempo crowd-singalong. It signifies the desire of wanting to break away from daily hectic life, finding peace and quiet.

SterjoTipi are currently working on other original material that is due to be released in the coming months.

World Cup Japan goal confirmed with new camera angle

World Cup Japan goal confirmed with new camera angle
Dec 2 2022 Share

A new camera angle emerged which appears to show why Japan’s winning goal against Spain, however controversial, was actually legitimate at the World Cup.

Despite initial TV camera angles making it seem as if the ball was clearly over the line and out of play, the Kaoru Mitoma cross for Ao Tanaka was accepted, seeing Germany out of the competition.

It actually has something to do with an optical illusion, with the law stating that the ball remains in play if the curvature of the ball is only partly on the line.

The VAR decided this was the case after consulting various replays, which include goal line cameras. The entirety of the ball and its curvature has to be past the entirety of the line for it to be out.

However, viewers and pundits were still enraged as FIFA’s host broadcaster did not provide any definite camera angles that showed it was still in play.

Due to something called parallax view, viewers were given an inaccurate picture. Different angles of perception can make the same object appear very differently, with a picture from above the goal-line appearing to show a tiny curvature of the ball hanging over the edge.

Dec 2 2022 Share

Wife of the Prime Minister Lydia Abela, along with daughter Giorgia Mae, lit up the Christmas Tree in Castille Square in Valletta to officially kick off the festive season in Malta.

Mother and daughter also announced the official launch of the ‘Rigal Bi Mhabba’ (A Gift with Love) campaign.

The campaign saw many Maltese and Gozitan families coming together in previous editions to leave as many gifts and presents as possible beneath the enormous Christmas Tree in the Square for charity.

People are encouraged to leave gifts for kids aged up to age 12 from the 12th of December 2022. This open period will end on the 21st of December before the gifts are handed to many local children.

A similar initiative is also being encouraged to take place in localities around the island, with local councils to take up the challenge of a similar but smaller scale campaign.

Taking to social media, Lydia explained that with the people’s generosity, ‘we can assure once again that every child experiences the joy of a gift during this wonderful time of the year.’

‘The previous two editions were a success’ the wife of the Prime Minister said. ‘I am convinced that with your love we will continue to bring a smile to more children’s faces.’
