Spiderman 4 Officially In The Works

Spiderman 4 Officially In The Works
Sep 11 2024 Share

Spider-Man 4 is officially moving full steam ahead, with filming scheduled to begin early next year. According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Tom Holland will return as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is set to take over directorial duties from Jon Watts.

Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but rumors suggest there have been some creative differences between Sony’s Tom Rothman and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. Feige reportedly favors scaling back the multiverse elements to focus on a smaller, more grounded adventure, while Rothman is interested in leveraging the success of No Way Home by possibly bringing back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their versions of Peter Parker.

While it’s unclear if Garfield and Maguire will return for this installment, fans speculate that they could instead appear in Avengers: Secret Wars. However, Spider-Man 4 could lay the groundwork for such a reunion.

As of now, no release date has been confirmed, but with production set to start next year, the movie is expected to hit theaters in the next two to three years. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates as the project takes shape.

Tourist Smashes KM Malta Airlines Window During Flight

Sep 11 2024 Share

A British tourist has been fined €3,000 and ordered to compensate KM Malta Airlines after breaking an interior window on one of its planes while flying over the Alps on Sunday during a flight from London to Malta.

“It’s the stupidest thing I’ve done in my life. I know I’ve let my parents and family down. This isn’t me. I’m so, so sorry,” said the 33-year-old tourist, Anand Rajesh Ganatra, who pleaded guilty and apologised in court.

The court was informed that a fellow passenger threw something at Ganatra, likely teasing him, which caused him to overreact and smash his hand against the perspex window. His right-hand thumb and middle finger were bandaged.

The damage caused to the thick inner windowpane was calculated at €2,125, which he will have to reimburse. The tourist stated in court that he was willing to pay the amount immediately “by debit or credit card.”
