Some Sunshine Before The Weekend: Then It’s Back To Rain

Some Sunshine Before The Weekend: Then It’s Back To Rain
Jan 15 2024 Share

According to local weather forecasts, the weather is expected to take a turn for the sunny during this week’s mid-point, before turning back to wind and isolated showers.

Tuesday 16th January is expected to bring more rain and wind before we get a brief respite on Thursday with overall sunny weather.

However, as if the skies don’t want us going out on picnics to chill off from a week from work, the weekend is expected to bring back the wind and isolated rain showers.

According to Facebook page It-Temp Madwarna, the weather is expected to get warmer, with other forecasts corroborating this with temperature predictions feeling around 21 degrees Celsius by Thursday.

This will however cool down as the weekend draws nearer, with low temperatures of 11 degrees Celsius.

What do you make of this weather?

Malta’s banners have acquired international attention as a Manchester United and Visit Malta partnership has taken the advertisement to various countries including China, Australia, the United States and Latin America.

The partnership is one which allows all the fans of the massive football club to have a peak at the Mediterranean island and prompt even further tourism of quality.

The deal between the two entities was reinvigorated back in 2022 and is continuing to make our country known to football fans all around the world.

The Red Devils is also no stranger to having their players on the island, with the women’s team recently playing a friendly in one of Malta’s very own stadiums whilst also participating in a return-to-the-league training camp.

The PN Youth Takeover After Shadow Minister Reshuffle

The PN Youth Takeover After Shadow Minister Reshuffle

Following the reshuffling of Robert Abela’s cabinet, Opposition leader Bernard Grech followed suit a week later to reshuffle his own cabinet of shadow ministers.

What was notable about the new reshuffling was that the younger generation of Opposition members took on a more prominent role within the party and the parliament as well.

This of course includes Rebekah Borg, who is now the Shadow Minister for the Environment, having shadowed consumer rights and lands prior to the reshuffle.

Darren Carabott, too, got a new role as the shadow for home affairs and reforms – meaning that he will be taking on issues such as immigration, the prison system and overall national security.

Last but not least is Jerome Caruana Cilia who is now the shadow minister for the economy and enterprise.

Some other notable changes were Adrian Delia’s appointment as Shadow Health Minister from Shadow Transport Minister. This of course follows his court case in relation to the Vitals Steward Health Care scandal.

What do you make of these new roles within the party?
