Daniel Muka, the Albanian suspect behind the Sliema double murder case, was caught and foiled in attempting to escape the Corradino Correctional Facility.
Reports have emerged that Muka was in possession of a tool or a potential weapon.
Muka was arrested for the double murder of Chris Pandolfino and Ivor Maciejowski in Sliema after his Floriana apartment was raided.

Four more COVID-19 deaths were registered on Wednesday, bringing the total number of registered deaths up to 69.
The victims are a 63-year-old, an 83-year-old, and 86-year-old and an 87-year-old, all of which are reported to have had underlying health conditions according to the Health Authorities.
The total number of active cases currently stands at 1,853.

After he allegedly taking his own life, DaBaby posted a touching tribute to his brother. Glenn posted a video of himself carrying a gun and weeping in his car before his death as he talked of how he had been wronged in the past.
DaBaby, 28, did not comment on the cause of his brother’s death, but on his Instagram account today, he mentioned him twice. The words he wrote seemed to reference the hardships of his brother.
“My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family. “Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy.”
