In a recent episode of ‘Growing Paynes’, the podcast hosted by Sidemen’s Ethan ‘Behzinga’ Payne and Faith Kelly, the popular internet personality said the YouTube supergroup’s visit to Malta was ‘similar to a zombie apocalypse’.

Comparing the island trip to Harry Wroetoshaw’s holiday in Gibraltar, it was stated that Malta exhibited ‘feral’ and ‘crackhead’ behaviour while the group was in Malta.

“I suppose they’re so far out…” Behzinga said, “no one’s going like”, his wife continued. Faith went on to say that it wasn’t what she expected from Malta, going on to say that she doesn’t quite understand the country.

“Ethan likes it, for me, sorry Maltans, I wouldn’t go back,” the YouTuber and TikToker continued.

What do you think of their statements?

World Commemorates 22 Years Since 9/11 Tragedy

World Commemorates 22 Years Since 9/11 Tragedy

Americans across the nation marked the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 with solemn commemorations.

Bells tolled at ground zero, and people gathered at various sites, including memorials, firehouses, and city halls, to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the terror attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

The events of that day profoundly influenced both American foreign policy and domestic security concerns.

President Joe Biden participated in a ceremony at a military base in Anchorage, underscoring the widespread impact of 9/11.

He was en route to Washington, D.C. from a trip to India and Vietnam. Eddie Ferguson, the fire-rescue chief in Virginia’s Goochland County, reflected on the unity that emerged on that tragic day, emphasising how the nation came together to help.

In Goochland County, which has a population of 25,000, two separate commemorations took place: one in the morning, focusing on first responders, and another in the evening, honouring all victims.

Across the country, communities paid tribute through moments of silence, tolling bells, candlelight vigils, and various other activities. In Columbus, Indiana, 911 dispatchers broadcasted a remembrance message to emergency responders, while the city of 50,000 also held a public memorial ceremony.

From San Giljan to Birkirkara to Qrendi, the division, the division can be seen clearing up heaps of rubbish and trash which, as of late, have been highlighted as one of the most troubling issues on the island.

The Division also encouraged the residents themselves to contribute to the effort by staying aware about how they dispose of their waste.

Animal Rights Activist Locks Herself In Cage To Protest Captivity

Animal Rights Activist Locks Herself In Cage To Protest Captivity

Animal Liberation Malta, an animal rights movement is raising its voice against the continued operation of zoos in Malta.

In an action carried out outside the premises of Wildlife Park in Rabat on the 8th of September, an activist locked herself in a cage to symbolise the entrapment felt by the animals inside the zoos.

The organization firmly believes that animals should not be kept in captivity, away from their natural environments. In an effort to promote awareness and change,

Animal Liberation Malta wants the public to understand that whilst they are paying the price of an entrance ticket (or donation), animals are paying the ultimate price.

ALM activist Tanya Fontebasso said, “We are here to remind people that every ticket purchased is a contribution towards animal slavery. Zoos like this and others only exist because people support them. We invite everyone to rethink their choices in a more ethical way, remembering that there is nothing entertaining in seeing these majestic creatures in cages where they are not free to express their natural instincts and needs”.

Animal Liberation Malta asserts that animals such as bears, lions, tigers, and exotic species do not belong in confined spaces like zoos, where they are deprived of the freedom to exhibit their natural behaviours and expressions.

We take note that the zoo regulations have been shelved for over two years. It is abundantly clear that there is no political will to make any changes. Thus, as animal activists we appeal to individuals to make the right choices in favour of animals by not supporting slavery.

ALM also states that there is no educational benefit from exploitation and slavery. We advocate for alternative methods of education and conservation that do not involve keeping animals in captivity.
