Local singer and songwriter Shaun Farrugia, posted on his social media stories celebrating his latest achievement of reaching 1 Million Monthly listeners on Spotify. After deciding to drop his life and flying to London in 2019, Shaun gained international fame and even collaborated three times with International DJ Martin Garrix.

Shaun also posted his gratitude towards the hardworking people who helped him to get where he is at today ever since he decided to chase this crazy dream 5 years ago.

His latest single with Martin Garrix and Dub Vision ‘Wherever You Are’, has gain popularity with 1.5 million listens in just a week.

Malta Veterans Beat Manchester Reds 4-0

The Malta veterans triumphed in the MUSC Cup, defeating Manchester Reds 4-0 at the Centenary Stadium.

The Maltese players capitalized on their opportunities, scoring four unanswered goals against the Manchester veterans.

Organized by the Manchester United Supporters Club Malta, this match was the highlight of events celebrating the club’s 65th anniversary.

Former Red Devils, including Jaap Stam and Ronny Johnsen, competed against the Maltese veterans.

Michael Galea opened the scoring for Malta with a header in the first half. In the second half, Mark Barbara, Kevin Sammut, and Ian Zammit each added a goal.

Following the match, Manchester United Supporters Club president Joseph Tedesco presented the cup to Maltese captain Brian Said.

Izak Catania De Giovanni Becomes Youngest Male Councillor

Izak Catania De Giovanni has become the youngest male candidate to be elected to a local council, this time around in Fgura.

This comes after Gabriel Borg Ferrando was announced the youngest male councillor for St Julian’s on behalf of the Nationalist Party.

However, whereas the former was born in January of 2008, the new Fgura councillor on behalf of the Labour Party was born in March of the same year, making him two months younger.

Eminem Surpasses Drake in Spotify Monthly Listeners

To no surprise, Eminem has reached a new high with over 80 million monthly listeners on Spotify. With no hesitation Eminem pushed Drake back to the no.8 spot to the World’s highest monthly listeners list.

While Drake’s following continues to shrink (it was over 80 million a few days ago), Eminem is only going up from here.

Although Eminem experienced a recent dip, his new single, ‘Houdini’, is growing in streams again, this winning streak is only going to continue from here.
