‘The Sharks will give people from all walks of life the chance to chase the business dream and potentially secure business deals that could them turn their ideas into a viable business.’

The Sharks have a goal too, and that is to get a return on their investment and own a piece of the next big business idea. ‘When the Sharks hear an idea worth sinking their teeth into, there more than ready to declare war and fight each other for a piece of it.’

The local licensed producers of Shark Tank Malta, Anton Attard and Mark Grech from Greatt Company Limited, thanked Malta Enterprise for their sterling work in the industry.

‘We believe that this programme will bring the necessary awareness and the ideal opportunities for many young founders that need that extra set of skills and capital injection that only the ‘sharks’ can bring to the table.’

This is the chance for all local entrepreneurs – it will be hitting Maltese TV screens on Television Malta in April 2022. To apply, follow the link here!

7-1 loss for Malta against Croatia at Ta’ Qali national stadium

7-1 loss for Malta against Croatia at Ta’ Qali national stadium

Maltese football fans were left rather disappointed yesterday after our national team lost 7-1 against world class Croatia.

This was the worst result in Malta’s otherwise successful World Cup qualifying campaign. It will also see Croatia going onwards with two points of current leader Russia.

The Maltese were ready for the match of their lives, with the evening kicking off with an unfortunate start as Perisic scored a home in the first five minutes. With a second goal for Croatia in the 22nd minute, the Maltese brought up their score through a Brozovic goal.

The night however continued in Croatia’s favour, with the first half ending at 4-1 for Croatia, rounding them up to 7 goals in the second half.

Malta will be facing Slovenia this Sunday in a home match. Yesterday night’s result will hopefully not deter Devis Mangia’s team from pushing forward. The team proved to hold their own previously and the campaign is far from over.

The coach has already expressed his courageous approach, stating ‘This is the moment to stay behind the team. I stand behind my players, we will not throw away 2 years of work’.
