Second Vaccine approved in the US

The Moderna vaccine has been approved in the US along with the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine.

The FDA decided that the benefits of the vaccines outweigh the risks for people who are aged 18 years and upwards.

Once the vaccine is authorised for emergency use, Moderna will begin shipping millions of doses to the US. Making it the second vaccine that will be disseminated in the country.

Meanwhile, European countries face a substantial increase in cases and race to get vaccines approved.

Immigrants will receive COVID-19 vaccine for free, says Fearne

Immigrants will also receive the COVID-19 vaccine for free, as reported by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne.

The Minister stated that there will be no discrimination when giving the vaccine and that the country will begin receiving the doses from the 27th of December, in line with European Union.

Fearne assured the public that the vaccine appears effective against every variant of COVID-19.
