Sarah Zerafa opens up about the ugly side of social media with a message of hope

Mar 15 2021 Share

Maltese social media and fashion influencer Sarah Zerafa took to Instagram to reveal various hateful and negative comments she reportedly receives concerning her appearance. Showing two sides of herself; one in makeup and another natural, the image is accompanied by comments making all sorts of crude and demeaning remarks.

In the description, she opens up how long it took her to upload such a photo due to feeling ashamed of receiving them. She says she wants to highlight the ugly side of social media which no one speaks about. She ends the post however with a message of support and love as she tells her followers to love themselves so much that comments like these become irrelevant and something to laugh at.
