Sep 20 2021 Share

Freelance model and blogger Sarah managed to land, and absolutely slay, an opportunity to model at Miss Universe Malta for the Piccinino Fashion Show last Friday. Speaking to this newsroom, Sarah revealed how she had been working immensely hard for the past couple of years to try and break into the modelling industry. However, as a size 14 model and not meeting the height requirement, this proved immensely difficult for Sarah. She nonetheless did not give up on her goal, seeking to help aspiring models just like her. Having suffered from mental health issues throughout her teenage years, mostly because of how she looked, she found a way to love herself and her body.

Fast forward to last Friday and Sarah managed to break through the fashion barriers. She realized how the struggles she endured were mainly due to the lack of representation in the fashion and modelling industry. But now, as she paves the way for future models, she has managed to make connections in the scene and received an amazing reaction as she dominated the catwalk. Sarah, who is also a proud owner at the ‘hobblilekinnifsek’ store, will be making huge waves in the industry ahead!

For his very first weekly show of ‘Game On’, local star Ben Camille interviews, and challenges, beloved newscaster Keith Demicoli about what role sport played in his life. In the 20 minute interview jam-packed with in depth conversations with Demicoli and fun challenges, the guest reveals how sport contributed to his becoming a newscaster. Keith speaks about how, despite it not being super obvious, his love for sport has helped him overcome challenges out in the world.

Keith tells the audience how sport showed him how life is a constant challenge which one must continuously strive to be better at. Practicing physical activity also helped Keith clear his mind when in moments under pressure and how to be able to learn and take criticism from those who have mastered the craft one wishes to succeed in. Keith was also presented golden opportunities because of sport, something which is reflective of the practice itself. And that’s not all, because you get to watch Demicoli and Ben Camille compete with a game of bottle-flip burpees!

Brazilian footballer Hulk expecting baby with ex-wife’s niece

Sep 20 2021 Share

Brazilian footballer Hulk has announced on his Instagram that he and his partner Camila Sousa are expecting a baby. The relationship went viral earlier in the year, as Camila is the niece of Hulk’s ex-wife Iran Sousa. Hulk and Iran’s marriage lasted for 12 years, with the couple co-parenting three children Ian, Thiago, and Alice.

It was reported that Hulk, real name Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, and Camila first got together in January of 2020 whilst Hulk was playing in China for Shanghai SIPG. The relationship was revealed to Camila’s family by Hulk himself. In an interview, his ex-wife Iran had this to say “It is deeply regretted that Mr Hulk, not content with ending a marriage of more than 12 years, he then did not respect the pain of the one who always devoted love, affection, respect and consideration to him – as well as his children, whose supreme interests should be preserved by their father. “

In the past, Hulk admitted that his marriage was an unhappy one, but refused affair allegations saying “I never had a relationship with Camila when I was married.” The Atletico Minero player will be hoping for a better relationship with Camila, for his sake and the baby. In his Instagram post he said “Today with a heart full of gratitude to God, I come to share with you that for the fourth time I am being blessed with another child” and “My heart overflows with so much happiness and I can only say thank you God.”
