Sarah Bonnici, Malta’s Eurovision Song Contest representative for the year 2024, has turned 26 years old!

Sarah represented the islands with her song ‘LOOP’, which, despite not qualifying to the final night, still made a massive hit amongst Eurovision audiences worldwide.

Sarah is now hyping up the release of the music video to her brand new song ‘LOSE’, which she released earlier this month.

Following the recent news that the sound of a small explosive was heard near the Labour Party headquarters, police have also convened on the site of the Nationalist Party Headquarters to ensure that this same situation does not replicate itself.

Heavy police presence is present in the area as is the case with the Labour Party headquarters, with police still investigating the source of the sound and whoever is responsible.

The sound was heard during the night, with police and bomb disposal carrying out work to ensure there are no other risks.

‘I want to reassure everyone that the Labour Party Headquarters is safe and the situation is calm. I keep emphasising the importance of being calm’, the Prime Minister had said.

As part of his 11th entry into the ‘Viaggio a Malta’ series, world renowned Italian chef Bruno Barbieri tried out traditional Maltese bigilla.

In an episode centred all around cheese and winery, Barbieri was treated to the traditional Maltese dish from an iconic bigilla van.

Accompanied by official culinary ambassador for Malta Marvin Gauci, the Italian chef enjoyed the dish in the scenic landscape of Malta and straight from thee van.

Sunny Weekend Before A Rainy Monday?

This weekend is forecasted to be sunny and hot, before isolated showers hit the islands at the start of next week.

The first two days of June are set to be largely sunny, with temperatures as high as 29 degrees Celsius.

Sunday is set to start to bring gloomier weather with cloudy skies and strong winds before shifting to isolated showers on the 3rd of June.

The rest of the week is set to continue as cloudy according to current forecasts. In other words, make sure to hit the beach when you get the chance.
