Malta’s Eurovision Song representative Sarah Bonnici has officially released the music video for ‘LOOP’, with a revamped take on the song ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden this May.

The video has the young singer show off not just her voice but her dance moves – something we already got a taste for during her contestation for the top spot in Malta.

With red hues and lit up scenes, Sarah’s new take on LOOP makes it known that she is definitely ready to rock the big stage in Malmo in a few months.

During the Malta Dance Sport Cup, various Maltese dancers managed to bag top prizes, including a couple of wins in respective categories!

Among them were couple Miriam & Emy, who placed first in the Open Youth Competition. Meanwhile, Zven & Adelina placed 3rd in the Open Youth Competition.

The competition, which took place on 9th of March at the Radisson Golden Sands, is organised by the Malta Dance Sport Association led by President of the organisation Mr Chris Zammit.

The competition is recognised by the World Dance Sport Federation and brings to Malta around 250 couples and 75 athletes from 20 different nations.

Dancers from Hong Kong, Latvia, Austria, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Albania, Israel, Hungary, Slovenia and many others convened in Malta to vie for the top prizes.

Film With Maltese Cast Members To Finally Premiere In Malta

‘Shame on Dry Land’, a film co-produced by local Film Production Company ‘Pellicola’, will finally premiere locally on the 18th of March.

The film boasts a remarkable ensemble cast, featuring Maltese talents Erica Muscat, Owen Scriha, Angele Galea, Rebecca Camilleri, Frida Cauchi and Colin Fitz.

The film is a gripping redemption drama skilfully directed by director Axel Petersen.

Set against the captivating backdrop of Malta’s sun-soaked landscape, the film delves into the intriguing world of the Swedish online gaming community, revolving around the enigmatic figure of Dimman, an exiled lottery swindler.

“Shame on Dry Land” stands as an official Sweden-Malta co-production, with co-producer of the film and owner of Pellikola Owen Mallia expressing his satisfaction at the announcement of the film’s selection to premiere at the 48th edition of the prestigious Toronto Film Festival last year.
