Sanondaf wins Best Hygiene and Cleaning Company at Malta Healthcare awards

Disinfection company Sanondaf has become a household name for its highly-effective touch-less disinfection systems and services and in 2021, the company has secured the award of Best Hygiene and Cleaning Company of the Year at the Malta Healthcare awards.

The Malta Healthcare Awards rewards healthcare services to Maltese businesses, where nominees are judged by eminent professionals in local healthcare.

Sanoserv CEO Jason Degiorgio highlighted how much of an honour the award is as it highlights the company’s efforts to maintain the safety of their clients throughout such a challenging year.

Couple arrested for smoking a joint in a hotel room; Roberta Metsola critiques government

Maltese MEP and Vice President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has lashed out at the government after a couple was arrested for smoking cannabis in a hotel room during Valentine’s Weekend.

The police entered the St. Julian’s hotel room, where they arrested a 21-year-old Hamrun resident and a 19-year-old from Zabbar for possession of cannabis.

Metsola called for the same fervour approach towards corrupt individuals rather than teenagers who may have these cases “hanging over them for the best part of their formative years.”

Prince Harry and Meghan expecting second child

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they are expecting their second child after sharing a black and white photo together with Meghan resting her head on Harry’s lap.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that their son Archie will soon become a big brother as the royal family are reportedly ‘delighted’ for the couple and wished them well.

Meghan had suffered a miscarriage last July, which she revealed in a heart-wrenching tell-all New York Times article where she wrote “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”

PM Robert Abela’s grandmother tests positive for COVID-19

During a political event held in Floriana on Sunday, Prime Minister Robert Abela revealed that his grandmother Lukarda had tested positive for COVID-19.

90-year-old Lukarda, who the Prime Minister called ‘a personal source of everyday courage and energy’ will be celebrating her 91st birthday this Friday.
