Salina National Park looks to receive a major upgrade with regards to park condition and accessibility as Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Planning Aaron Farrugia has revealed that the park will receive a €250,000 investment by Ambjent Malta.
The investment will go into a number of restoration and regeneration projects and is part of a number of interventions on parks, natural areas and Natura2000 sites to conserve habitats and species while also improving the recreational areas via means of accessibility.
In a recent Facebook post, Minister Farrugia stated that new sanitary facilities will be installed while the John F. Kennedy monument will be restored, going on to highlight that this investment will mean an increase in open spaces where families can spend their time.
