After having just left the Love Island Malta villa, Sabrina took to social media to post her first photos and stories since leaving, showing that she immediately resumed her routine.

Sabrina stated her reasons for leaving as having to do with abandoning her routine impacting her mental health negatively.

Her openness about this earned her a lot of praise by the Maltese public, who continuously picked her and Kyle as their favourite couple.

Posting on story, she revealed that she is ‘back home’ at Train Insane Malta, followed by another story thanking people for their lovely comments and support.

Writing on her IG feed, she thanked Love Island Malta for the ‘lovely experience. I will always carry this in my heart.’

‘I felt I needed to follow what my heart really needed and mostly take care of my sanity. Truly happy to be back to my life and routine because this is who I am’ she said. ‘Definitely Was a great journey, and have no regrets . I found a new family in there.’

The iconic Trevi Fountain in Rome, which sees many tourists visiting and tossing coins into the water, saw its water turn black following a climate protest.

Seven young activists from the ‘Ultima Generazione (Last Generation)’ protested climate change by jumping into the foundation holding placards saying ‘We won’t pay for fossil fuels’ and shouting ‘our country is dying.’

This prompted police to jump into the water themselves to escort the activists as tourists hurled insults at the protesters.

The group is calling for an end to public subsidies for fossil fuels, linking the protests to deadly floods which hit the northern region of Emilia-Romagna in recent days.

Despite the motives of the protestors, many public officials condemned the protest, with Rome’s mayor Roberto Gualtieri taking to Twitter to state: ‘Enough of these absurd attacks on our artistic heritage.’

Sabrina praised for making her mental health a priority

Viewers of Love Island Malta were absolutely baffled yesterday after one of the most beloved contestants, Sabrina, decided to leave the villa.

With herself and many of the other islanders in tears, Sabrina explained how this was an immensely difficult decision to make but that it had to be taken for various reasons.

First, the abandonment of her daily routine proved too much for her and leading her to not feel ‘100%’. She also said that she wanted to give the others space to create more connections between each other and the incoming bombshells.

This received massive praise by viewers of the show, who praised Sabrina for being able to speak about and prioritise her mental health, even on live television.

They also pointed out how it was already very difficult for her from the get-go, being the oldest competitor with quite an age gap.

Sabrina is 33-years-old, with the oldest male competitor being Nate at 29. Her match Kyle, with whom she coupled at the beginning of the programme, was 26. Despite this, they became one of, if not the most favourite couple in the villa.

Woman jumps into the sea to save her €750 Jacquemus bag

Woman jumps into the sea to save her €750 Jacquemus bag

Now this is what we call dedication to the brand.

Whilst dining at a local sea-side restaurant in Malta, TikTok user @tayylorking0’s €750 Jacquemus bag fell into the sea.

You have to respect the dedication hahahahaha @Jacquemus

But Taylor wasn’t about to let her precious, and expensive, bag be sacrificed to the local waters near InterContinental’s seaside restaurant of Paranga.

So she did what she had to do – she leapt into the sea and retrieved her pink bag. Documenting the stunt on TikTok, she showed her followers that she was in fact reunited with it, having managed to retrieve it before it made its way down to the depths.

She also took the opportunity to make the brand of Jacquemus aware of her dedication by tagging them in the TikTok description.

Would you have jumped into the water to save your expensive bag?
