Ahead of the Mediterrane Film Festival, which will see a long list of talent visiting the islands, Crowe sat next to Malta’s Film Commissioner Johann Grech and the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo and spoke about the now established film industry on the islands.
He highlighted the nightlife, the accommodations and the islands being a ‘very, very attractive place to shoot.’
He also praised the commission’s emphasis on staying up to date with the latest developments in the world of film and urged the importance of keeping up with the technology.
The sequel to the 2000 movie ‘Gladiator’ is once again being filmed on the Maltese islands, with Crowe taking the opportunity to revisit the island he has so often praised.
