Mar 9 2024 Share

As previously reported by MaltaDaily , local animal rights activist Christa Cilia went viral around the island for saving and rescuing a stray pharaoh hound who she later named Nenu.

Christa has provided regular updates to her followers about Nenu’s recovering health and today she has posted another heartfelt update on Nenu on her Facebook page saying that in only a week Nenu’s life has improved so much due to the love and care she and others showed him.

Cilia also took the opportunity to question why people find it so hard to love dogs and why some are so cruel and mean to these creatures. She stressed that Nenu’s life was threatened due to being abandoned by human beings and even though he seems scared of everything and everyone he is starting to trust her.

She ended her post by saying that Nenu was lucky for getting a second chance in his life but stated that most stray dogs are not as lucky.

Canadian star Drake is mostly known for his groundbreaking music however recently but lately, he’s gained attention for making big bets on athletes, which seem to bring bad luck. This trend continued last night.

This time it was former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou who suffered from the ‘Drake curse’ as he was knocked out in the second round by British boxer Anthony Joshua in their much anticipated bout.

The rapper bet $600,000 on Francis Ngannou to win the fight with a potential payout of approximately $1,900,500, however this bet was ultimately in vain due to the spectacular knockout produced by Anthony Joshua.

Prior to this loss, Francis Ngannou took the boxing world by storm with his first fight in boxing being a debatable and controversial loss by decision to heavyweight champion Tyson Fury however it is clear to see that he needs to work more on his boxing skills to conquer the heavyweight boxing division as he did with UFC heavyweight division.

Drake once placed a wager of $850,000  on Logan Paul to secure a knockout victory over Dillon Danis. Despite Paul winning, Drake lost the bet due to Danis being disqualified.
