Busy Bee, the household name in Maltese sweets, has just launched its latest concept outlet, Rolling Bee – The Busy Bee Bar, located at Pama Shopping Village in Mosta. This unique food truck experience is inspired by the original Busy Bee outlet, which first opened its doors in Msida in 1933, offering a blend of tradition and innovation.

Rolling Bee – The Kannoli and Coffee Bar brings Busy Bee’s rich legacy directly to customers, offering a range of traditional favourites such as the iconic classic kannoli, along with new and exclusive kannoli flavours, dark chocolate with almonds, milk chocolate with hazelnuts, and white chocolate with pistachios. In addition to its signature sweets, the outlet serves a variety of fresh pastries and Busy Bee’s best-loved treats.

Coffee lovers will be equally delighted with an extensive menu of freshly brewed beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, mochas, chai lattes, flavoured teas, and much more.

The official launch weekend took place on Saturday, 8th March and Sunday, 9th March, following its initial opening on Friday, 28th February. Since its debut, The Rolling Bee has already received an overwhelming response from customers, reaffirming Busy Bee’s place as a true staple in Malta’s culinary scene.

Transport Officials Intervened In 60 Accidents Last Week

Last week, Transport Malta officials intervened in 60 road accidents, with 7 of the accidents involving injuries.

The medium clearance time of the accidents was 20 minutes.

Monday 3rd March registered the highest amount of incidents at 17, with a response time of 14 minutes.

Transport Malta encourage drivers to be vigilant whilst commuting to avoid any injuries and accidents that may result.

Injured Owl Rescued By Malta Rangers

Earlier his week, the Malta Ranger Unit handed over a Scops Owl over to a government vet after it was found very unwell.

The rangers were alerted to the injured bird by a member of the public, and acted swiftly to rescue the owl.

The owl is set to undergo rehabilitation with BirdLife Malta. An x-ray showed that there were no shotgun injuries.

‘We wish to thank the person who found the owl and the several NGOs that assisted us on this case’, wrote Malta Ranger Unit.

The competition is heating up as these talented individuals dream of winning €30,000 to advance their singing careers!
