Busy Bee, the household name in Maltese sweets, has just launched its latest concept outlet, Rolling Bee – The Busy Bee Bar, located at Pama Shopping Village in Mosta. This unique food truck experience is inspired by the original Busy Bee outlet, which first opened its doors in Msida in 1933, offering a blend of tradition and innovation.
Rolling Bee – The Kannoli and Coffee Bar brings Busy Bee’s rich legacy directly to customers, offering a range of traditional favourites such as the iconic classic kannoli, along with new and exclusive kannoli flavours, dark chocolate with almonds, milk chocolate with hazelnuts, and white chocolate with pistachios. In addition to its signature sweets, the outlet serves a variety of fresh pastries and Busy Bee’s best-loved treats.
Coffee lovers will be equally delighted with an extensive menu of freshly brewed beverages, including espressos, cappuccinos, mochas, chai lattes, flavoured teas, and much more.
The official launch weekend took place on Saturday, 8th March and Sunday, 9th March, following its initial opening on Friday, 28th February. Since its debut, The Rolling Bee has already received an overwhelming response from customers, reaffirming Busy Bee’s place as a true staple in Malta’s culinary scene.
Geoffrey Friggieri, Managing Partner at Busy Bee Ltd, expressed his enthusiasm, “We are beyond excited to have launched this new concept. It’s an innovative way for us to share our beloved traditional sweets with an even wider audience. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to continue serving our community.”
