Rich countries hoard vaccines while poor countries struggle

Rich countries have been hoarding vaccines in hopes of finding an end to the Coronavirus Pandemic in their country.

This extreme buying of vaccines leaves very little room for developing countries to be able to afford vaccines for their citizens.

Canada has booked enough vaccines to vaccinate Canadian citizens 5 or 6 times over while poor countries will only be able to vaccinate every 1 in 10 people by 2021.

This day is one we should all celebrate with pride and patriotism since it is the day we became an autonomous country.

2020 meant over $30 billions loss for the live event industry

It was no assumption that the live events industry would take quite a blow during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

With shows postponed until 2021 or even 2022 along with the shows which were just cancelled, the industry has lost over $30 billion.

Man grievously injured after argument in Gzira

A 33-year-old man who lives in Sliema was injured early this morning at around 4:30 AM.

Authorities report that the man is from Turkey and that the other man is still unidentified.

The 33-year-old was given medical assistance on-site and then taken to hospital where his injuries were confirmed as grievous.
