Inside information has revealed that Health Authorities are expecting to re-open restaurants by 10th May. This date is however provisional, whilst bars and band clubs will remain closed. The aim of this plan is to assess the virus situation when opening facilities, to administer more vaccines and to to also avoid any crowding on Mother’s Day.

The date is still not publicly confirmed but restaurant and band owners are still sounding their concerns in regards to the lack of a confirmed plan. Many are worried about their businesses, as bars have been shut since October. With tourism set to restart by 1st June, the full reopening of bars is still uncertain.

During Malta Daily’s pilot episode of chat show Ċoom Boom, our hosts Peter Carbonaro and Claire Preca Taroum discussed a number of topic’s with the show’s first ever guests, John Busuttil ‘il-Bużu’ and his partner Janice Grech.

The four addressed the recent social media drama which had ensued between Peter and John, where even Peppi Azzopardi had intervened after a heated discussion on infertility, pregnancy and the eligibility of jokes in today’s sensitive climate.

Many other topics were discussed including age gaps in relationships, ghost stories and much more, where John and Janice gave their two cents and past experiences on a number of issues.

Kanye West’s first-ever pair of Yeezys are officially going on sale and expected to go for a whopping $1 million.

The original Nike Air Yeezy is going up for auction at Sotheby’s with much hype around it, with CNN calling the pair of shoes ‘one of the most prized and sought-after sneakers in existence.’

The sale would break Michael Jordan’s previous record for most expensive shoe for his 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1s, which sold for $615,000 in 2020.

After years of works and anticipation, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects Ian Borg took to Facebook to announce that ‘our country’s largest infrastructural project’ is finally finished.

With the aforementioned statement, the Minister shared a photo of the Marsa Junction flyover after its regeneration via the installation of bright new greenery on the lower side.

While the project generated many mixed reactions, many took to the comments to reiterate the Minister’s statement that the Marsa Junction Project breathed new life into the south.
