Wildlife Rescue Team Malta shared more videos of rescued hedgehogs being released back into the wild after days of intensive rehabilitation.
‘After great care and days of medical attention and rehabilitation at our centre, it’s time to release some of our patients and say goodbye. We wish them good luck’, wrote the team.
Thanking the rehabilitation volunteers, the team reiterated the call for others who are willing to help the team as more animals are found to be in need of care.
The animals rescued by the team are protected species and it is illegal to keep them as pets in Malta.
