In his speech, Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà emphasised that while the Malta Police Force is one of the oldest institutions of its kind, it has evolved into a modernised force focused on professionalism and efficiency. Gafà highlighted that public opinion surveys, both local and European, consistently show that the majority of Maltese and Gozitan people have confidence in the Police Force and its officers.

“These very positive results are the merit of motivated officers who daily provide professional service in partnership with our communities.”
