Galea killed one of the attack dogs himself, activist alleges

Local animal rights activist Maxine Borg (On Facebook as Max Ine) claimed on social media that Andre Galea, the breeder who was attacked by his own pitfalls, killed the dog who attacked him himself.

Borg said that the 8 confiscated dogs will not be put down and that they did not attack any of those conducting the retrieval of the dogs, which were found to be living in inhumane conditions.

Borg went on to question what could have happened that led to the attack on the day. She goes on to allege that animal welfare did not put down the dog involved in the brutal attack but it was Galea himself who put it down.

She also alleged how when the 2020 incident occurred, wherein Galea’s grandmother was mauled to death by the dogs, no one did anything and it was her who had to take the situation on.

She urged the authorities to take further action to avoid such horrific cases from happening again. She called on for stricter laws when it comes to such cases and irresponsible breeding.

This event is the official qualification event for Paris 2024, and Thornton wrote about how she still did her absolute best despite not ‘feeling mentally well’ and being very stressed due to other commitments.

No matter what, she’s still a star in our books. Well done Tenishia and a massive good luck for your upcoming examinations!
