A photographer from India has managed to film an extremely rare black leopard from just a few feet away.
Wildlife photographer, Anurag Gawande glimpsed this melanistic leopard while on a safari at Tadoba National Park in western Maharashtra state this January.
While melanistic leopards are already rare because of their black coat, this particular male leopard, is as rare as they come. This is because of it’s distinctive black spots which are visible on its shiny coat.

A fully electric van was just introduced in the Maltese Islands by the private sector. This van is worth around €90,000. Minister for the Environment, Aaron Farrugia was present at the presentation of this van and he said that this is the perfect example of an initiative towards helping the country in having better air quality.
He also said that the government gives incentives to people who buy electric vehicles, encouraging people to transform Malta into a healthier country.
Together with company owner Darren Zammit, Minister Farrugia discussed several events, such as how other foreign countries like Norway and the UK have already passed this law for the coming years, in order to ban internal combustion engines in their respective countries.

The Disney-owned animation giant Pixar celebrates 35 years since its founding today and what a run it has had so far.
Starting off as a Lucasfilm division and eventually attracting the attention of Steve Jobs, Pixar went on to create cinematic icons such as Toy Story, A Bugs Life and Monsters Inc, amongst many others, of which they have shared a memorable montage on Twitter.

Their most-recent release ‘Soul’ was scheduled for theatres but got pushed back due to the pandemic and appeared on Disney+ on Christmas, going on to receive many awards in the build-up towards Oscar season.

Following WWII veteran and NHS hero Captain Sir Thomas Moore’s passing on Tuesday, over 200,000 people backed a captain to give the veteran a state funeral.
Captain Tom had won the hearts of millions after raising over £33 million doing laps in his garden, serving as a beacon of hope for many.
He passed away after contracting COVID-19 and if granted, his funeral would be the first state funeral since Sir Winston Churchill’s in 1965.
