Princess Kate Cancer Free: Details Experience In Family Video
Sep 10 2024 Share

In a family video, Princess Kate announced that she has officially finished her chemotherapy and is cancer free.

The video has her and her family out in the woods together spending quality time as Catherine speaks about what this experience has taught her.

‘The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.’

‘With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.’

‘This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.’

‘Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.’

‘To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light so let that light shine bright.’

A protected Osprey was reportedly shot down near Birżebbuġa on Monday morning, BirdLife Malta said.

BirdLife volunteers witnessed and filmed the incident during an annual Raptor Camp. Times of Malta reported that the NGO said the incident happened after four Ospreys were seen roosting in the Buskett area on Sunday evening.

Following the incident, BirdLife Malta called 119 immediately and was reportedly informed that the Environmental Protection Unit (EPU) were not available.

Following a third call, an EPU unit was reached, and details were passed on. The NGO said that it believes neither the bird nor the hunter were located.

UPDATED: FKNK Statement

A statement issued by Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti (FKNK) condemned the illegal shooting on a protected species – in this case, an osprey.

BirdLife Malta released a video of an osprey being shot during a camp held by the NGO near Birżebbuġa.

Following the release of the video and statement by Bird Life Malta, the FKNK released a statement saying that such actions tarnish the reputation of hunters in Malta who abide by the law.

‘The FKNK is ready to take the required disciplinary measures against those who ruin or attempt to tarnish the continuous work by FKNK and the thousands of members under its name.’
