Prince Harry Reveals ‘It’s Still Dangerous’ For Meghan To Return To UK

Jul 26 2024 Share

Duke of Sussex or better known as Prince Harry has confirmed his fears as he revealed that he thinks it is still dangerous for his wife, former actress Meghan Markle to return to the UK.

In his first interview after his court case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) he stated that he feared an attack on his wife would happen if she ever had to return to the UK any time soon.

He confirmed that the tabloids and successive trials against the tabloids brought too much attention over him and his wife and that they pushed him too far.

He continued by stating “It’s still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read and whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me.

“It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

He also blamed his battle against the tabloids and press as one of the central reasons why his relationship with the royal family ultimately deteriorated,

Failed Railway Arson Attack In France Ahead Of Olympics

Failed Railway Arson Attack In France Ahead Of Olympics
Jul 26 2024 Share

France’s high-speed rail network suffered major disruptions due to arson attacks just hours before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.

Rail operator SNCF reported “malicious acts” intended to cripple the system, causing significant travel delays. Several Eurostar trains between Paris and London were cancelled, and others were diverted onto slower lines, adding 90 minutes to the usual journey.

French security forces are actively searching for those responsible for the coordinated attacks, which Prime Minister Gabriel Attal condemned as “criminal acts” with serious consequences for the rail network. Sports Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera criticized the sabotage, emphasizing that it targeted the athletes and disrupted years of preparation for the Olympics.

Suspicion may fall on Russia, whose team is banned from the Paris Games due to the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, with France being a prominent supporter of Kyiv.

However, far-left groups in France, known for targeting the rail network with arson attacks, are also potential suspects. The incident has highlighted the vulnerability of critical infrastructure and the broader implications for international events like the Olympics.

Malta’s contingent is also currently in France ahead of the Olympics.
