Prime Minister Robert Abela has expressed his confidence in declaring that the Daphne Caruana Galizia public inquiry will be over by the 15th of December, unclear whether or not he would consider another extension.
The inquiry board started with a nine-month term, but went on to appeal for an extension due to alleged disruption from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The inquiry investigates whether or not the State did enough to prevent the Caruana Galizia car bombing, looking into various witnesses including ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
