President Myriam Spiteri Debono Visits ‘Dar Tgħanniqa ta’ Omm’

May 10 2024 Share

Yesterday morning, President Myriam Spiteri Debono visited the ‘Dar Tgħanniqa ta’ Omm’ residence in Mosta.

The maternity home offers assistance to vulnerable women who have unplanned pregnancies. The residence offers refuge to pregnant women for up to one year after the birth of their child.

The residence is run by the Life Network Foundation and as of right now is hosting 8 mothers and 7 babies in it’s residence.

Whilst thanking the several staff members and volunteers and the CEO of the Foundation, Dr Miriam Sciberras for their work to the benefit of humanity, the President stated that the birth of babies is the origin of all love and that the birth of babies in tough circumstances is always turned into good that and other people cannot deprive future generations of those who can be of benefit to others.
