In today’s health conference, Superintendent for Public Health, Prof. Charmaine Gauci stated that vaccine will not be offered to pregnant women and children under the age of 16 due to the fact that clinical trials have not progressed enough to confirm health and safety.
The Superintendent for Public Health also stated that pregnancy is discouraged after the first two months of taking the vaccines.
Prof. Gauci has also stated that side effects, if any, include minor fever or headaches for a short period as well as redness around the area of the vaccine jab for a short time but confirmed that it is nothing to worry about.
