Possible Rain Showers This Sunday

Possible Rain Showers This Sunday
Oct 24 2024 Share

According to the Meteorological Office weather report, Sunday could see some possible rain showers hitting the islands.

The ramp up towards the last day of the week (or the first, depending on how you see it) is set to be early cloudy all the way through.

So really, a bit of precipitation could hit at any point. So you might as well go for that picnic anyway and see where the weather takes you.

Temperatures are set to feel like 25 degrees Celsius, with lows of around 20 degrees Celsius.

Any plans for the weekend?

It was announced that the Liam Payne Memorial set to take place in Malta by local fans of the former One Direction member has changed locations from Triton Fountain to Ġnien Laparelli.

The news was shared on social media through the memorial’s event page, with a poster encouraging attendees to bring anything that reminds one of the late singer.

It is uncertain what caused the need for a location change, but many are set to attend the tribute to Payne, who passed away earlier this month to the shock of thousands around the world.

The event is also raising funds for The Richmond Foundation, to which attendees can donate through Revolut on 79419676 or via BOV Mobile on 99030619.

Anyone donating is asked to specify the purpose of the payment.

Farrugia also stated that a Coastal Act isn’t just about environmental preservation but mainly about justice.

Also present at the Mediterranean Coastal Erosion Conference was Minister Chris Bonnet who stated that rising sea levels and coastal erosion threathen Maltese communities and that the government’s plan is to protect what the country has and plan ahead for what’s coming.

He also revealed that collaboration between government, local communities, the private sector, and environmental organizations is essential.
