Police Superintendent, Maurice Curmi, tested positive for cocaine use. He was immediately suspended.
Curmi later reported to the Times of Malta that he will be contesting both the test result and the suspension.
The superintendent in question said that two other tests were performed on him (one before the positive result and one after), both of which resulted negative.

The US Capitol has been put into lockdown as masses of pro-trump protestors stormed the building during Congress’ certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral win.

Rapid Screening Malta are offering rapid antigen tests with results sent out by e-mail within 15 minutes – and what’s better is that they are offering group rates at discounted prices.
The tests are being distributed by ROCHE, one of the world’s leading companies in biotech and are also recommend by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Apart from standard swab tests being provided in the public health centres around Malta and Gozo, Boffa Hospital and the Xewkija Testing Centre in Gozo are also offering the opportunity of Rapid Antigen Tests for no cost whatsoever.
