Following the recent news that the sound of a small explosive was heard near the Labour Party headquarters, police have also convened on the site of the Nationalist Party Headquarters to ensure that this same situation does not replicate itself.

Heavy police presence is present in the area as is the case with the Labour Party headquarters, with police still investigating the source of the sound and whoever is responsible.

The sound was heard during the night, with police and bomb disposal carrying out work to ensure there are no other risks.

‘I want to reassure everyone that the Labour Party Headquarters is safe and the situation is calm. I keep emphasising the importance of being calm’, the Prime Minister had said.
