Whilst being interviewed during the Nationalist’s traditional Independence festivities at Tritoni Square, Bernard Grech stated that his Nationalist Party in Government would result in better roads and less traffic.
Speaking to Times of Malta journalist Mark Lawrence Zammit, Grech revealed that a Nationalist government would reduce traffic through a network and cluster of more efficient and less dangerous roads.
The Leader of the Opposition also stated that the Nationalist Party will be in a coalition with the Maltese people and it will be the people who will win once a Nationalist government is elected.
Grech also revealed that whenever the Maltese people reach a crossroads, the people always choose the Nationalist Party.
According to the Nationalist leader, the current Labour government is one that celebrates statistics whilst a Nationalist government it would be a people and quality of life focused government.
During the interview Grech also commented on the recent nomination of Glen Micallef as Commissioner, congratulating him but also stating that his portfolio is not as important as others.
Lastly he also tributed his former colleague Karl Gouder who tragically passed away only a few days ago.
