Prime Minister Robert Abela is expected to address the country at 11am, along with Health Minister Chris Fearne and Superintendent for Public Health Charmaine Gauci, to formally announce any easing of COVID-19 restrictions and present a plan for the country going forward.
Non-essential shops and services are expected to reopen from tomorrow, with four people allowing to gather in public, as opposed to the current. Beyond that, restaurants, bars, gyms and wedding services currently await a position from the government to plan a way forward as their businesses’ security hangs in the balance.
