PM Abela hopes to bring courage and hope with upcoming budget

With the national budget scheduled for tomorrow, the country awaits further information and reassurance within the context of the current pandemic.

In a recent Labour Party event, PM Robert Abela claimed that he is hopeful that the budget will bring courage and hope to the country and “incentivise consumption”.

Amongst other claims, Abela stated that the government will triple its financial contribution to social measures amounting to €100 million.

iPhone 12 Pro comes with better cameras

During the “Hi, Speed” special event, Apple announced the new iPhone 12 Pro which is the premium model of Apple’s iPhone 12 and share the same core features as the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini and even uses the same flat edges design making them similar to the iPad Pro.

The iPhone 12 is powered by the A14 Bionic System-on-Chip, which was previously on the Apple iPad Air and supports 5G cellular networks. The iPhone 12 Pro is powered by a new 16-core Neural Engine, which makes it twice as fast as the previous version.

12 Pro and Pro Max is also equipped with a LiDAR sensor, enhances the Portrait Mode imagery, among other photographic effects and is also able to assist the autofocus in low-light situation, making it gain focus 6 times faster.

iPhone 12 “mini” announced

Apple has announced the new iPhone 12 which also comes in a “mini” version. The term “mini” is being used for the first time by Apple on the iPhone line, after they used it on the iPod mini, iPad mini, and Mac mini in recent years.

The iPhone 12 “mini” comes in a smaller 5.4″ screen – which is smaller than an old iPhone 6 and just a bit bigger than the iPhone 5. The phone has been made smaller by removing the touch id and reducing the bezels around the display.

Meet the iPhone 12

During a special online Apple Event due to covid-19, Apple launched the brand new iPhone 12, which still resembles the iPhone 11, but comes with flat sides which makes it look like a mini iPad Pro and features the same 6.1-inch display size as its predecessor.

This year the iPhone will come in black, white, blue, red, and green and will have an OLED screen.
