Pigeons Found Dead On Manoel Island

Jul 19 2024 Share

A large number of dead pigeons have been found on Manoel Island by Maltese residents, who shared their concerns on the popular Facebook page ‘Are You Being Served’.

A local resident posted in the group, urging health authorities to investigate this serious issue, as it could pose a threat not only to the pigeons but also to people visiting the island.

The pigeon deaths are likely due to the extreme summer heat experienced in recent weeks.

Similar incidents have been reported in other heat-stricken regions, such as Kuwait City, the hottest city in the world, where fish have been observed boiling in the sea and birds falling from the sky.
