As part of a new deal reached by the government and the Malta Pharmacists Association, pharmacies will be opening on Sunday afternoons as from this weekend.
This will also include the expansion of other services linked to the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme. Health minister Chris Fearne announced that as from Sunday, pharmacies will be open on Sunday mornings as they have been doing so for the past years.
However, they will also be opening up from 4 to 7pm, with the same roster system employed for the past years being utilised. The Deputy Prime Minister also used the press conference to announce new COVID measures which will be eased. You can read about them here.
