AC Milan come back to defeat Inter in Derby della Madonnina

Feb 5 2022 Share

The red side of Milan ran out as winners of the Derby della Madonnina, after beating Inter 2-1. The game was very close, and as normal Milan derby’s are it was dramatic with many argument both set of players. This result sees AC Milan move closer to Inter, with now only one point between the two teams albeit Inter have played a game less.

The first half was all Inter. As usual the Nerrazzuri had most of the ball and looked more calm and confident than their Rossoneri counter parts. Inter rwb Denzel Dumfries had a large impact scoring a disallowed goal in the 19th minute and missing a one on one chance only a few minutes after. The first goal of the game came in the 38th minute when Inter player Ivan Perisic coolly placed the ball in the back of the net from a Hakan Çalhanoğlu corner.

The second half of the game was a completely different story as the Milan players decided to wake up. The Rossoneri looked more confident and also played smarter using the physicality of various players such as Oliver Giroud and Theo Hernandez to their advantage. French striker Oliver Giroud opened Milan’s account in the 75th minute and gave them the lead only 3 minutes after in the 78th minute. The match ended in a sour way for Milanisti as star player Theo Hernandez got a red card in the 95th minute for a disgusting tackle on Denzel Dumfries.

Kanye West accuses Kim Kardashian of “kidnapping” daughter amid divorce controversy

Kanye West accuses Kim Kardashian of "kidnapping" daughter amid divorce controversy
Feb 5 2022 Share

In the latest episode of relationship turmoil between the two media megastars, Kanye West has accused ex-wife Kim Kardashian of trying to “kidnap” daughter Chicago after failing to give Ye the address to her birthday party.

This follows Kardashian’s claims of West’s “constant attacks” of her on various interviews and social media, with West recently posting a screenshot captioned “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIKTOK AGAINST MY WILL?”

Claiming to be the main provider and caregiver for the couple’s children, Kardashian stated that all she is doing is allowing four year old Chicago to express her creativity with adult supervision, with West disputing these claims, stating that he was escorted by security whilst playing with his son then accused of being on drugs at his daughter’s party.

Kanye concluded his statement by addressing Kardashian’s chief marketing officer Tracy Romulus and telling her to “stop manipulating Kim to be this way…”

Activists place ‘Government propaganda you paid for’ protest banners atop Malta Film Awards ads

Activists place 'Government propaganda you paid for' protest banners atop Malta Film Awards ads
Feb 5 2022 Share

A number of unknown activists took to the streets this weekend to place several yellow banners with a poignant message in the place of advertisements for last weekend’s Malta Film Awards.

Photos sent to Malta Daily show several protest banners which read ‘Government propaganda you paid for’ being erected in various spots across Malta, taking the place of the previously-set Malta Film Awards Banners. The grandiose yet controversial Malta Film Awards generated a fair amount of backlash and calls for further transparency on the event’s total spend.

As of yet, The Malta Film Commission has not revealed the total spend for Saturday night’s award ceremony, with Film commissioner Johann Grech saying that he will reveal “all numbers” following the awards. Matthew Caruana Galizia has since filed a Freedom of Information request to reveal the total amount spent on bringing UK personality David Walliams to host the ceremony.

What do you make of this?
