Perlina TV features original shows, including a puppet show set on a farm, an animated series about local animals teaching children numbers and colors through songs, and a character named Linu Perlinu, who explores places of interest in the Maltese Islands.

The app also offers bedtime stories narrated by local personalities, a virtual reality series, and tales with a local twist.

The app aims to promote and preserve the Maltese language, with support from the Centre for the Maltese Language and Arts Council Malta. Perlina TV’s content is written by Audrey Brincat Dalli, a renowned local television writer, and produced by Maltese artists and professionals.

The platform is seen as a valuable tool for parents and teachers, providing interactive and engaging resources for teaching Maltese.

It also addresses concerns raised by a national survey showing that many young children struggle to understand Maltese. Perlina TV will be available to the public in November.

Twitter and Tesla owner, Elon Musk, is on track to become the world’s first ever trillionaire, according to a new report made by Informa Connect Academy, a group which tracks people’s wealth.

The report revealed that the South African’s wealth has been growing in a rapid annual rate of 110%. This would mean that at this rate his wealth will more than double every passing year.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Musk is currently the richest person in the world with a reported net worth of $251bn.

The academy’s analysis predicted that Gautam Adani, the founder of an Indian business conglomerate, could become the second person to achieve trillionaire status by 2028, assuming his annual growth rate of 123% continues.

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Prajogo Pangestu, an Indonesian energy and mining tycoon, are also projected to reach trillionaire status in 2028 if their current trajectories persist.

Bernard Arnault, head of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and currently the world’s third-richest person with approximately $200 billion, is expected to surpass the trillion-dollar mark by 2030, alongside Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

There are several companies that have exceeded the $1 trillion mark, but no singular person’s net worth has reached that mark yet.
