People suffering from allergies & respiratory problems should notify doctor before vaccine

In today’s briefing streamed on saħħa, the Superintendent for public health reiterated that individuals who suffer from heavy allergies or respiratory problems should notify their doctors prior to taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

Anyone who suffers from blood disorders, bruise easily or are currently taking medicine preventing blood clots should also get in touch with their doctor.

Doctors should also be notified if individuals have a weak immune system due to suffering from HIV or are currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Malta has registered 82 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 2,609 swab tests, while 132 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

Details on new active cases will be given by Prof. Charmaine Gauci during a press briefing at 12:30 streamed on saħħa.

To date, Malta has registered 11,992 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 10,293 have recovered, 201 died and 1,498 are still active.

The former X Factor contestant, along with Karin Duff, Lara Dimech (from Lara & The Jukeboys), Raquela, Matthew Pellicano, Gabriel Agius Pascalidis & Gian Privitera (both from Lara & The Jukeboys) and Jean Paul Borg (from The Busker) will be raising funds in a 2-hour Facebook stream for Hospice Malta called ‘ħoss for hospice.’

DanceLab MT are sending warm Christmas wishes how they know best

Christmas spirit is a magical thing and this year we needed it more than ever. That said, DanceLab MT are dishing out the Christmas vibes how they know best, through dance.

The emotional Christmas video portrays a Nanna-type figure on her own during the festive season, accompanied by a touching dance routine which signs off with the message “Just because we can’t be together in person this year, it doesn’t mean that we can’t be present.”
