Adonis explains how it takes two persons to make the toast, but made sure to leave a massive ‘THANK YOU’ caption for all those supporting his now viral business.

In a video posted to TikTok, user Aaron Chircop showed hundreds of people flocking to get a bite out of Mr Sofrito’s, real name Adonis Brace’s, ‘virale’ €9.90 toast in Had-Dingli.

Unfortunately for Aaron, the toast was absolutely sold out – and given the massive crowd, we can see why.

Blind 86-Year-Old Man Completes Year-Long Marathon, Raising €11,554 For Puttinu
Jan 18 2025 Share

86-year-old, Joseph Mallia, has completed a year-long walking marathon, raising €11,554 for Puttinu Cares despite being visually impaired and facing physical challenges.

Living in an elderly care facility, Joseph began his journey on Boxing Day 2023, walking 1,000 steps a day on the home’s terrace. Over the year, he walked 350,000 steps, reaching the distance of a full marathon.

His motivation stemmed from a personal tragedy of losing his 16-year-old son Paul to leukaemia. This loss inspired him to fundraise for Puttinu Cares.

Joseph’s accomplishment has inspired many, with Puttinu Cares praising his courage and determination. “Despite his challenges, Joseph has shown us all the power of perseverance,” the charity said in a statement.

Donations to support Joseph’s cause can be made via Revolut (77354366) or bank transfer to HSBC (IBAN: MT72MMEB44130000000013053061050)
