In a period of nearly two years, almost 16,000 people reached out to the 1579 helpline seeking help.

This was announced by Health Minister Jo Etienne Abela in a video he posted on social media on World Mental Health Day.

The Minister urged anyone struggling with any sort of mental health issue to seek help, with dedicated professionals ready to offer the support needed.
