
According to data tabled in parliament by Minister Byron Camilleri, there were 1,535 nineteen year olds working full time in Malta as of October 2024, with 1,218 working part time.
Meanwhile, as of the same period, there were 163 sixteen year olds working full time and 300 working part time.
In the same period, the age group with most full time employed youth was 29 year olds, at 9,683, superseding the 30 year old age group which was set at 9,525.
The highest amount of part timers as of October 2024 was registered in the 20 year old age group at 1,350.
