Official Music Video For New Il-President TV Series

Released on Republic Day, Maltese band Skald released the official music video for the new upcoming television series Il-President.

The series, which will release on GO TV’s Tokis the day after Istrina (on Boxing Day), imagines a Malta wherein Xarabank host Peppi Azzopardi is elected President of the Maltese islands.

The Watermelon Media production sees Gawdenz actor Fabian Scerri de Carlo taking on the role of the iconic host with an uncanny resemblance.

The official music video for the series starts to detail the first hints we’ll get about the series – the struggles Peppi will be facing upon taking the role of President of Malta.

The Biggest Christmas Log Record Broken In Gozo

The Malta Records visited the island of Gozo’s Sir M.A. Refalo Sixth Form to certify the making of the biggest Christmas Log, with a length of 128.9 metres.

The entire log was made up of 590 logs, with 85 mixtures producing 7 separate logs each. The making of the Christmas chocolatey delicacy took a whopping 510 cans of milk, 236kg of biscuits, 200kg of coconut and 85 bottles of alcohol.

The previous record of this kind was established in 2017, with a log of 101.3 metres. All proceeds made will be going to this year’s Istrina.

Thank You For Flying Air Malta, Pedro Pascal

Air Malta crew got the chance to meet upcoming Gladiator 2 star PEDRO PASCAL, who has been popping up in photos of locals all around Malta.

Known for his various roles on films and series such as The Mandalorian, Game of Thrones and The Last of Us, Pascal took the time to snap a photo with the crew managing this particular flight.

‘Thank you for flying Air Malta’, the airline captioned the photo on social media. Earlier, Pascal was even seen dining at Valletta’s Da Pippo with co-stars Paul Mescal and Joseph Quinn.

Jake Vella’s Paw Walk Brings Together Dogs & Their Owners

It was all wagging tails and furry friends yesterday after dog owners headed to Mater Dei Hospital to join Sports ambassador Jake Vella for his paw walk.

The second edition of the initiative, the Paw Walk saw Jake Vella raise funds for the Association for Abandoned Animals as well as collect food and other useful resources for the four legged friends at the shelter.

Adorable photos shared by Malta and Gozo’s Official Dog Community Waggo’s show that the walk was a resounding success yet again.
