An “Ocean’s 14” sequel is reportedly in early development at Warner Bros. and Smokehouse, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt possibly returning to their iconic roles. Early reports suggest that Edward Berger could be tapped to direct, taking over from Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the original trilogy.
While no official confirmation has been made, Clooney teased the possibility during a December 2023 interview, revealing that a strong script already exists for the next instalment. “We have a really good script for another ‘Ocean’s’ now,” Clooney shared with Uproxx. “It’s actually a great script, though I’m not sure we’d call it ‘Ocean’s 14.’ It’s kind of like the idea of ‘Going in Style.’”
Clooney and Pitt are currently collaborating on “Wolves,” a new comedy directed by Jon Watts. The film, which follows two fixers forced to work together, also stars Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan.
With the two megastars promoting “Wolves” and their potential involvement in the next Ocean’s heist, fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting further details on what could be another stylish and star-studded chapter in the Ocean’s saga.
