Number of COVID-19 cases will continue to increase – Fearne

While being interviewed by The Malta Independent, Health Minister Chris Fearne, stated that the rise in cases had been predicted long ago, when in the beginning of summer the Health Ministry had stated that they were expecting a surge in cases as soon as the weather starts getting colder.

Although the active cases in Malta surged in recent weeks, Fearne stated that the situation was still under control, but they are expecting that the number of COVID-19 cases will continue to increase.

82-year-old man becomes 51st COVID-19 victim

The Health Ministry announced the 51st virus patient to die in Malta – an 82-year-old man who was admitted to Mater Dei at the end of September.


The elderly man had tested negative when he was admitted to hospital, but after showing covid related symptoms, he was retested and tested positive for covid-19.
The ministry offered its condolences while urging people to abide by public health guidelines.

khabib defeats Justin Gaethje & announce retirement on an emotional night

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Justin Gaethje yesterday night by sending him to sleep with a triangle choke. With this win Khabib extended his perfect MMA record to 29-0.


Emotions were high on the night as this was Khabib’s first fight without his father and coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, by his side – who passed away in July due to complications caused by COVID-19, what few knew was that it was also Khabib’s last fight.

Soon after he was declared winner, Khabib laid his gloves down in the Octagon and announced his retirement, stating that he had promised his father that he wouldn’t fight without him by his side.

Drake announces ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album will be released in January 2021

Drake has announced on his social media that his new album Certified Lover Boy is set to arrive in January 2021.


The announcement came on the same day of Drake’s 34th birthday (October 24).
Back in August, Drake revealed that he had a new album on the way when he and Lil Durk released the single “Laugh Now Cry Later”.
